During August, the famous American writer Anita Amirezvani will be a guest of Writer’s house in Pazin

Anita Amirrezvani is a Literature teacher at the California College of Arts and a famous American writer. Anita was born in Teheran, Iran but was raised in and lives in the US. Her first novel, The Blood of Flowers, is translated in 25 languages, including Croatian (2007). Her second novel, Equal of the Sun, was published in 2012. Croatian translation of this long awaited book is expected to be published in early August by Profil Zagreb. Both novels deal with complex historic issues of the Persian civilisation. At the moment, Anita Amirrezvani is working on a project of Iranian – American anthologies called Not In My Father’s House: An Anthology of Fiction by Iranian American Writers together with Persis Karim. You are invited to meet Anita – in Poreč, on the 8th of August at 8,30 p.m. besides the Temple of Neptun and – in Pazin, on the 20th of August at 11 a.m in the Writers’ House This project/visit is a result of collaboration between Public Library Poreč and the Writers’ House.
